STEP 1: PREP YOUR NAILS
· Wash and dry your hands. Do not apply moisturiser or cuticle oils prior to applying nails.
· Smooth your nails using a nail file, remove any dead skin from around your nails (nail file and wooden stick provided)
· Clean nails thoroughly using the alcohol nail prep wipes provided. This will remove any cuticle residue or oils from your nails prior to nail application. Wait for your nails to dry.
STEP 2: APPLYING THE SEMI-CURED GEL NAIL WRAPS
· Choose the correct size Gel Nail Wrap for your nail. To ensure best fit, you can carefully cut the wraps or gently stretch the wraps with your fingers before applying them, taking care not to overstretch the wraps.
· Peel off the clear protective film. Place gently on your nail, ensuring the wrap does not touch your cuticle or any skin around your nail.
· Once you are happy with the fit, press the Gel Nail Wrap firmly onto your own nail. Use the wooden stick provided to apply pressure around the edges of the Gel Nail Wrap.
· Remove the excess/overlapping Gel Nail Wrap using a nail file, taking care not to tear the edge of the Gel Nail Wrap (you can cut the excess with scissors if you prefer).
STEP 3: CURING THE NAIL WRAPS
Place your nails under the UV Lamp and cure for 60-180 seconds. Ensure that nail wraps have been properly cured as this will ensure longevity of the wraps.
Avoid contact with water during the first 2 hours of curing your gel wraps
Our Gel Wraps can last up to 3 weeks if applied correctly. We recommend using rubber gloves when washing up and if working with chemicals. Remember your nails are Jewels not tools
Please note: Glitz Nails Semi Cured Gel Nail Wraps are not designed to be used as nails extensions. If applied and removed correctly, these are an excellent way of helping to grow your natural nails. They will also strengthen your own nails while using our Gel Nail Wraps.
